The Chimney House Weddings - Becky & Nick
Posted 27th April, 2026

Becky & Nick Say...
"We first visited the Mowbray a few years earlier and loved it - we were told by a friend then that we should get married here - despite not being engaged!
As soon as we walked back in we knew it had to be here. Not only was it beautiful, and very much matched the low key but chic vibe we wanted, it was also the fantastic staff at both the Chimney House and Mowbray that really cemented it. From the first intro to pick up the day after they were so relaxed, but knowledgeable, about everything we asked. Everything we asked was possible and approached carefully - we really felt like we were in safe hands.
We had people asking if we were stressed prior to the wedding and we had to answer, guiltily, that we were not - as the team had everything in hand.
The dressing on the day was beautiful, simple and had all our guests in awe. That is before getting to the food, which was another main reason we chose it. All the menu options were fantastic and our quests are still raving about it.
We cannot thank the team enough for not only running the day perfectly, but being so chill, relaxed and competent all in one go!"
