Our Second Interesting Evening!Posted 16th October, 2015
Join us on our second in the series of Autumn/Winter ‘Interesting Evenings’ at The Chimney House.
Each ‘Interesting Evening’ will be different – and hosted by a whole host of interesting and inspiring people. Some evenings will be free, others will have a fee but all have been curated to broaden horizons and to give a fun peek into another point of view.
We invite you to The Chimney House to fill up your Autumn evenings with fun, creativity, learning, interest and to join us under our ancient beams for a series of inspiring evenings on The Island.
We’d love to invite you to ‘An Interesting Evening’ of Candlelit Yoga with Lydia Ainscough on Wednesday 4th November 2015
We’ve long been inspired by yoga and how it can change the way we work (for the better!) not to mention how it improves how we rest, relax and replenish in everyday life.
We would like to invite you for a real treat and some proper ‘you-time’ and to join us under ancient beams for 90 minutes of candlelit yoga.
Settle your mat and enjoy undisturbed halcyon moments on our perfectly heated floorboards, surrounded by the glow of countless candles.
We’ll be led by one of Sheffield’s finest yoga instructors, Lydia discovered the benefits of yoga whilst teaching snowboarding in Canada in 2006, she quickly started to realise how much better she felt physically and emotionally when practicing. Lydia believes yoga has the power to heal and transform each of us in a positive light, and that everyone can benefit from the practice.
Our powerful, strengthening class is designed to challenge both the body and mind, whilst easing the tensions of everyday away. Expect a variety of sequences to build strength, stamina, flexibility, and the graceful flow of movement. We’ll finish with a long, lazy, peaceful savasana under the flickering candlelight.
Absolutely suitable for all levels, enjoy your practice with hands-on assists from Lydia.
Bring your own mat, our candlelit 90 minute class will start at 6pm, and end at 7.30pm with restorative tea.
Places are £15 but limited, email firstname.lastname@example.org to book and pay for your spot.
Payments will need to be made in advance of the 4th November 2015.
