Andy and Sam chose a gorgeous late Summer’s day to tie the knot. Island skies were warm and hazy… Total romance filled the air.

 We love hearing back from our couples about what made their day totally wonderful. Andy and Sam filled The Chimney House with their lovely friends and family and all round great vibes - a total joy to host! We were delighted to hear back from them and take peek at their gorgeous photos!

“We couldn’t have asked for a better setting and venue to hold our wedding breakfast, after having our ceremony at the amazing Sheffield Town Hall we then got a Sheffield old bus to the amazing Chimney House which is just stunningly Sheffield in the fantastic area of Kelham Island. It’s old fashioned quirkiness was just what we wanted as we wanted proper Sheffield. We had the benefit of being able to take great photos outside against all the individual backdrops, such as the graffiti wall, the river etc.

It was such a beautiful sunny day we couldn’t have asked for more! When we finally did sit down for our deliciously sumptuous meal It felt very cosy and homely the perfect size for our small wedding day filled with friends and close family. No-one went hungry and all you could hear were yummy noises when everyone started eating, and I just wanted to box up all the leftovers to take home it was such divine food. The service was impeccable no-one ever had an empty glass

The walk with everyone following us from the Chimney House, seeing the sights of the rest of Kelham Island, on our way to our next venue at Yellow Arches was dotted with cheers and claps along the way!”
